Tour Duration: 07:00 – 17:00
Departure Point: Izmir Airport or your hotel
Drop-off: Izmir Airport or your hotel
Laodicea Ancient City
Your first stop will be the ancient city of Laodicea, one of the most important cities of the Roman province of Asia Minor. It was a wealthy and influential city known for its textile industry, banking, and medical schools.
Today, the site offers impressive ruins including the ancient theater, stadium, agora, basilica, temples, and extensive colonnaded streets.
Accompanied by your professional guide, you will explore these remarkable archaeological remains and learn about the rich history and cultural significance of Laodicea — also known as one of the Seven Churches of Revelation.
Pamukkale & Hierapolis
After visiting Laodicea, continue to Pamukkale, famous for its stunning white travertine terraces formed by thermal waters flowing down the mountainside. You will have plenty of time to walk on the terraces, take photos, and enjoy the beautiful views.
You will also explore the ancient city of Hierapolis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its well-preserved Roman Theater, Temple of Apollo, necropolis, and ancient streets.
There is also the option to swim in the famous Antique Pool (Cleopatra’s Pool) — where submerged ancient columns create a unique swimming experience.
This private tour combines history and natural beauty, offering a unique and personalized experience with the flexibility to enjoy the sites at your own pace.
At the end of the tour, transfer back to your hotel or Izmir Airport.
